Up To $40K Grants for Businesses in Travis County affected by COVID-19

There’s no denying that small businesses were hit harder by the coronavirus outbreak. Unlike large companies, they have fewer options to access funding.

On efforts to help small businesses recover, Travis County offers grants of up to $40,000 each through their Travis County (TCTX) Thrive Small Business Program. This is a portion of the Coronavirus Relief Fund via the CARES Act.

Businesses covered in the program must be located in Travis County, Texas; have been in business since March 1, 2019; have maximum net income of $500,000 annually; fewer than 25 full time equivalent employees on March 1, 2020; and use a Social Security Number, Employer Identification Number, or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number.

  1. 1. Complete the Pre-Application Eligibility Questionnaire before July 3, 2020.
  2. 2. Qualifying businesses will be invited to submit a full application.
  3. 3. If awarded, businesses will be granted free coaching on creating their Business Continuity Plan.
